debate

Please watch some of the debate tonight or some of the commentary tonight and tomorrow.  You do not have to watch all of it or even watch any of it live.  Look to see if Hillary defends her foundation or her relationship with Wall Street.  Look to see if Donald continues with his conspiracy stuff.  Anything is fair game.

  1. Trump does continue with the conspiracy of the media and the election and even states that he will not state his planned actions if he does lose (that's a bit troubling). I think that the fact that he's crying fraud in regards to media and the election and that he himself has had a relationship with fraud shows that he's just grasping a straws. Our mass media has always catered to the opinions of their owners and investors and he's a bit late to the show if he thinks the media is corrupted. The recent information released about his strained relationship with women has made his popularity rates decline, shows that he's struggling to find dirt on Hillary besides the email phenomenon. Additionally, a lot of the things that come out of Trumps mouth are untrue "facts" and no one understands where he gets his "facts". I don't recall Clinton mentioning her relationship with Wall Street. I know that the emails that have been released show that she has a mixed feelings towards Wall Street which is a major concern for many people. A lot of people are worried that because she made paid speeches in favor of Wall Street, she'll bow down to them because of the money she received. I watched the first and third debate and honestly, it left the impression that Trump was not prepared and both candidates argue like children. Clinton throws a lot of shade and it's kind of funny to watch Trump's reaction to it. Trump's main tactic is to say wrong and call Clinton names and question her intelligence. It's like watching a spoiled kid argue with his big sister. I recently watched a video about Trumps history with Obama and it concluded that because he promoted the birther issue with Obama, Obama attacked him at a state dinner and Trump, feeling humiliated, decided to run for president out of spite. While it may not be true, I think it's interesting. I also find it interesting that Clinton stated that Trump's whole campaign is based on the fact that America was once great when we've had political and social issues since the foundation of the country.

  2. Last night I was able to watch a little bit of the debate. I did not watch the whole thing I just watched bits and pieces of it. I just watched both of them lie their asses off. They bash on each other so hard, it was painful and childish to watch. They would continuously bring up each others past mistakes. At one point Hillary had gotten to subject changed to the recording of Trump and his sexual comments about women. Trump, like usual, made the subject to be Hillary and the Obama family hiring people to come out and say that Trump had made advances at them. Just like they had apparently done to hire people to cause violence at one of his rallies. He continuously stated that Hillary has done everything in her power to hire liars and try to get this election rigged. Both of them are so childish. Trump couldn't stand all the heat that was on him about this recording, that he immediately changed the subject to Hillary's email scandal. He couldn't stand all the bashing so he had to change the subject himself. Hillary did the same exact thing and avoided the subject and brought it back to his scandal. Both of them are not fit to run this country. And I am very nervous. I did not catch if Hillary discussed Wall Street I might not have watched that part of the election, but I'm sure she lied her ass off if she did. I'm sure they both just lied their asses off the entire debate.

  3. Hillary Clinton defended her foundation multiple times during the debate last night. Trump called the Clinton Foundation a criminal enterprise. I thought it was interesting that he demanded the foundations return of the money that was given by Saudi Arabia. She than talked about how proud she is of the Clinton Foundation and stated that she could talk about it all night. Donald Trump talked about many conspiracies. One of these being to rigged election. This has been a big topic on the news lately and that statement has been condemned by many other politicians. I think there was alot of lies and topic pivots during all 3 debates.

  4. At this point in the presidential race, I feel it is as if the two candidates talk about the country 25% of the time, while speaking to their sides the other 75%. It is so clear and easy to see that the democrat (Hilary) is just trying to impress her side, while the republican side (Trump) is doing the same. In previous presidential elections, I have not felt as though the candidates care about the votes more than the country. It is easy to see that Trump and Hilary are more curious in going against each other, and saying whatever they need to say to disagree with each other, rather than speaking from their hearts and letting THE PEOPLE know why they are going to take care of them and this country. I also want to point out that this is the first time that feminist/gender has been talked about within a debate, and Hilary most definitely uses that to her advantage. I also want to point out a quote that Trump said, “We have no country if we have no borders”, I think this quote really stood out to me. I do believe in his case of having strong borders in order to keep the drugs and illegal people out. I feel as though Hilary most definitely defends her foundation, but I did not really hear her talk about her relationship with Wall Street. As for Trump, I’m not very educated on Trumps conspiracy stuff, but I do believe he continued with it.

  5. I also want to add that it seems like they are an old married couple...anyone agree?

  6. I was only about to watch part of the debate, and from that I am worried for what may happen to our country. What I saw on the debate was what I refer to as childish. Back-n-forth avoiding topics and pointed out each others past flaws and attacking each other. I feel like a presidential debate should focus more on the topics of how they plan to run the office or
"make America great again". I also saw on the news tonight that Trump continued on with his conspiracy stuff and said he does not have a plan if he loses (or at least that what he claims). That seems to be a bit upsetting to some people to say the least. As for Clinton mentioning Wall Street, I am unsure. I didn't watch the entire speech, just bits and pieces of it, so I am unsure if it was spoken about or not.
Overall I think the debate was hard to watch because they were acting so immature, avoiding topics, and slamming each other back-n-fourth about their pasts. And lies. Lots of lies.

  7. I watched some of the debate and Clinton and Trump really condescended each other during the time that I was watching. There was a lot of trying to speak over each other and some elementary conflicts like "No I'm not a puppet, you're a puppet". They tried to explain their plans and defend their points on the subjects that the questioner asked but they spent a lot of time attacking each other.

  8. This was the third debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. I have been very hesitant on watching any debates between the two because they fight constantly and never tell America what they are going to do to change our country. Trump did speak about the conspiracy stuff and said he does not have a plan if he does not win, which is very troubling to hear i know if i did not do something i wouldn't even mention not winning a case because i know i was innocent. I do not recall listen to Clinton speaking about Wall street. It's very hard for me to want either of them president because, they are both very immature sounding when it comes down to it. Neither of them can be calm enough to not bash each other, or make faces when the other is talking. I want a president who is willing to change our country for the good, but doesn't ruin the morals of our country therefore i don't think either of them would be a good president personally, they are too absorbed into their own beliefs that they are not telling america what they want to do if they win.

  9. I'm quite embarrassed for the both of them at this point. At 23 and not knowing much about politics, I've followed more of this election than I have any previous. I'm very concerned with our country now, and even more so with the future president. I really don't believe in any candidate with the non stop bashing of each other. Calling each other puppets, and constantly trying to defend themselves as one calls out or makes fun. Debates are to get somewhere and speak, not nonsense and defend and poke fun. Donald clearly thinks his ways are so right and a conspiracy of how the media is out to destroy his life. I think if Hilary could just take the high road she would be better off for it. Both seem like they've lied about things, I can't stand when trump says "wrong" when Hilary is talking. As a Latino I was offended when Trump used the word Hombres. Many probably don't care and would say to get over it, but he has no filter, and no sense on common sense of what to say, and what not to say. I'm embarrassed for them both.

  10. I didn't watch much of this debate, but, they were both playing the cat and mouse game. It would seem that Hilary wanted to try and bait Trump into embarrassing himself as he has done in the past, and it seemed to have worked. I just have a hard time watching the debates between these two, it always seems to turn elementary and childish and they just frustrates me to no end.

  11. Trump: You're a puppet.
    Clinton: You're the puppet.
    Trump: No, you're the puppet!

I have never been as embarrassed for my country as I was when I watched this debate. I have watched more civil debates among elementary aged school kids. Donald Trump certainly continued his conspiracy nonsense, claiming abortions happen in the baby's ninth month in the womb, the election is rigged in Clinton's favor, the Clintons are hated by the Haitian community, and so on. I listened to the majority of the debate and did not hear Clinton talk about Wall Street. There was a clear winner of this debate, even though my political views do not align with either of these candidates, Clinton is the better choice for America.

If you also do not like these candidates, maybe vote for Vermin Supreme, he gives out free ponies. Alternatively my very loving, very cute beagle "Snouts" would make a better candidate as well. Vote Snoutz 2016, A Waggle for America, A Wet Nose For All.

  12. After watching the third and final debate I have realized there is more attaching one another than actually talking about specific topics. Both candidates also stray away from the questions being asked in certain circumstances. In this debate Clinton did indeed defend her Foundation multiple times. Now onto Trump and his conspiracies. Some may think that what he says is a conspiracy while others may believe its true. The main one I believe is the "rigged election" yes there are contradictions going on to make people believe it could be rigged, but it is all what you believe. At this point in time for me anything Clinton says is hard to believe but she knows how to be politically correct when answering questions. That doesn't matter to me whether she is "politically correct" because being President takes more than just being a politician like Clinton is. Yes Trump says some things that hurt him, but his views and ways to boost the economy are more inviting to me unlike Clinton's views. All in all I would much rather see different candidates in this Presidential election.

  13. I watched a little bit of the debate and I would like to say that I think that they both seemed like they were a little tired of the same old banter that they normally do, yet they still continued with it. I stop paying attention once I start hearing them both interrupt each other to make their little pokes at what the other is saying. The candidates have treated each debate like it is playtime and two kids are arguing over who gets to slide down the slide. The serious topics in the world are pretty much avoided just so Clinton and Trump can say who has made the most wrong.

Trump is still under the impression that spewing all sorts of opinions and obnoxiousness is going to convince the public that he will "make america great again". Clinton wants to point out how much good her foundation has done and great decisions she has made. The fact of the matter is, however, that they both have done a good deal of shady things, and they both have made asses out of themselves through the duration of this election process. This is my first presidential election and what I was once excited for as a little girl, I am reluctant towards.

  14. Well for the first half hour of this debate, it appeared that we were finally going to get the debate most voters were after for this presidential election. And then came the last hour. Hillary Clinton was never asked nor did she mention her foundation with Wall Street so not much was said there. However when she was asked about certain direct topics that she knew if she had answered directly, it would have an adverse affect on her and her campaign. For example how the Russians have declared espionage on her and her campaign but yet Donald will not admit that this is truly what is happening. Also came the topic of pro life and supreme Court justices. As for Trump, during the VP debate, Pence was asked by Kaine to support Trump and his topics of abortion. Pence could not defend Trump and his beliefs at the time. And when it came time for Trump to defend his stand on it during the debate he answered with what Clinton declared as scary rhetoric. It is things like this that Donald is only hurting himself with. I feel as if his continuing interruptions and his choice of words to answer just the simplest of questions is only making voters believe that he is not ready to lead this country. He also continued on his conspiracy theories about the rigging of this election and all of the people behind the attacks at his rallies and Clinton's emails once again. But in another way Clinton seems to play off every theory that Trump has to offer in the most sly way to yet keep her voters but also win the vote of many undecided. I believe that this final presidential debate was the way one candidate could finally win the vote of many undecided voters and I think that Clinton did this in a way more favorable for herself rather then the unseemly childish rhetoric that Donald Trump had to offer.

  15. The third debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton was like all the others, an unexpected and new way to "debate". They seemed like people who just hadn't ever gotten along. The debate was unlike any other, due to the constant arguing. Trump did continue with his conspiracy stuff, and did say something that concerned me. He does not have a plan if loses, it troubles me to hear that. Hillary did not mention anything about wall street from what I heard. To me, it's a hard bargain for president. Each have their downfalls, and they tend to pick on the littlest things. I want a president that has composure and is willing to listen to the other sides points. Each candidate to me seems tone deaf. Whatever they think, is what they think, and no one can persuade their stance.

  16. I didn't really know what to expect for this third debate. I watched the second debate, and it was far from what would typically be expected in a presidential debate. I expected that since the second debate was so out of sorts, that the third debate would be even worse. To my surprise, it was not as heated as the second debate was. For the beginning half hour of the debate, the tone was very calm and there was no unprofessional arguing for the most part. Later on and surely enough, Donald Trump argued that the election was biased. I feel like Wall Street was not discussed as much as I would have expected it to be. To my surprise, a great deal of time was dedicated to addressing abortion. I would not have expected that to come back as a debate topic. I thought a lot of time would be dedicated to discussing Wall Street and immigration. I think two prominent topics that were discussed thoroughly were abortion and gun control.

  17. I watched some of the debate and it feels as though Trump and Clinton are both childish and willing to attack each other. They both go at each other way rougher than needed and take things way too far. It was toned down a little more at this debate but no matter what they still bother to attack each other about anything that they can find in the other's campaign. This whole sexual offender thing with Trump makes me very uncomfortable and I don't know how he is still allowed to be running for president under these conditions. Also the subject of the deleted emails with Clinton needs to be addressed further because it really feels like they are hiding something that they know about or maybe Clinton is bribing them so that she can become president and totally screw up our country.

  19. I watched the debate and was not impressed with either candidate. It was more of battle between them and not on the topics. The state of our country and what the candidates can do to improve things should be the center of this, rather than the mud slinging going on. Very disappointed.
